Why is 7 11 so popular in Pattaya Thailand? Well, pull up a chair and let’s have a chat. If you are an expat this maybe one of the things that throw you off. Especially, if you are from a country where there are 7 11’s. Why? Because they tend not to be a goto location for food.
However, in Thailand it is a go to 24 hour destination. Oh, and the food is surprisingly good. There are over 13,000 locations in Thailand.
Also, they are constantly adding special additions for a given month or shorter time frame.

I think for so many people it is just easy and always open. Plus, sometimes you get to feed a regular stray dog or cat. And depending on the size of the store there are so many options.
Sandwiches, Thai food, Japanese food, so many varieties of potato chips, groceries, protein shakes, sausages, edamame, noodles, coffee (sometimes even high so versions), desserts, sushi, pizza, jello, more sandwiches, croissants, snacks, snacks, more snacks, and there is always a sale on something.
And it is hard to find one where you don’t see people constantly flowing in because it is one of the most unique places where visitors, expats, and locals visit on a daily basis.
